Exploring creative ideas for a peaceful world

In 2006, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Fif Fernandes and Carolyn Pogue envisioned a peace camp for kids. It came to fruition when Isabelle Klaiber and Melanie E. jumped on board, and it’s been running ever since.

Over the years, other peace camps have sprung up, and there are plans and hopes for more. Each Art of Peace Camp is independent and unique depending on the artists and organizers of the particular camp.

Some Peace Camps are a day long, others run half days or full days for a week. Some Peace Camps have 'resident artists' who are with the children the entire week; other Peace Camps bring in guest artists for a session.

The possibilities for Peace Camp are endless! The important thing is to create the space for peace. We are here to help you design and create! Wage peace. Contact us!
